Default fog lights for a 2000 Monte Carlo

Today I bought some fog lights from a junk yard for my monte. My car never had them before and I looked to see if my car came with the fog light harness. Unfortunately the fog light harness is not there. I want to hook the fog lights up to the switch but im not sure how to proceed. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I just checked and I found that same plug on the passenger side also. What is that plug for?

The factory service manual shows the fog lamp connectors bundled in the same harness as the headlamps behind the grille and near each headlamp. That harness is connected to the IP (instrument panel) so your gonna need the whole harness from the headlamps to the IP. There's also a relay in there and of course the switch. (See pics of illustrations, schematic and connector view in next post).

Here is the schematic, illustration, and connector views. This might help a little more.

If you can't find the plugs Plumbob mentioned, GM may have used a different wiring harness.
Someone mentioned finding a connector. If it is between the headlights, infront of the radiator/condenser and a small 2 pin connector, I can tell you 100%, that is the ambient temp sensor connector for the DIC (driver info center). I've installed a DIC in my Monte and wife's Impala (they did not come with one) and used that very plug on both cars for that sensor.

BTW - if you don't have an info center and want one, let me know.
