Default engine decals

Just want to let you guys know I e-mailed Matt at reflective concepts. Told him about the problem with the engine cover decals. He gave me the right way to apply. Hes going to send me a new set no charge! Good people there.

That is good customer support.

But I do have to ask, what is the right way to apply them?

That is very cool of them! Not to many companies out there would do that. Glad it all worked out for you!

I've been pleased so far with the services I've used from ReflectiveConcepts.

Now, I have to agree, what's the issue with applying your decals??

Default apply decals

Problem was cannot remove top layer transfer tape. He said to clean surface with dish soap dawn and water. Once completely dry press the decals on then give them a little heat hair dyer or heat gun.Just warm them up.Now peel the transfer tape back.He said these were made over a month ago so the transfer tape adhered to well to the shiney materal. the heat will soften the adhesive. On the first try I could not get the transfer tape off. The directions said nothing about using a heat gun.
