Definetley what we've been chatting about... With the painting of 2003Supersports s/c and additional colored components, it looks great without a plenum! Nicely done! Maybe someday, some of us s/c owners will get the ambition to do the same!

Somehow I missed this thread last week when it was relevant, but I did use a different engine cover then the one that came on the car (I actually used the one off my '98 Regal), but the original one was the same. #2627 was the first I'd seen like that. His is likely later production, but I have no idea of my car number (except the obvious #8)

Yeah, that Tony Stewart edition helps us out a bit... It's the corn shaped oil opening without the oil filler neck... but it's definetly different than JuniorCar's. Indeed it very well might be later production s/c Montes with that plenum, but we have a few more Dale Jr. Monte owners on here that should check out this thread and post up their pictures to be ABSOLUTELY positive...

i did mine like blackbeauty's above, i just faded the colors in and out on the ends that aren't a clear edge
