I'm going with function, then appearances. My under hood temps get crazy hot. Sometimes you have to say "What the hell, I need it to perform, guess it will look how it looks. I did initially look for the dual scoop years back, but there was no luck finding an operational hood, so it was back to the one I have now. I'm not sure I even gain any measurable HP, never did it for that.

 

It's funny, as Popular as the Monte Carlo is, there are not many offerings from the after market manufacturers. Most owners will not give up there Monte unless it has Major problems or their family size increases. I wonder if there is a way to change that?
