hi, i have an 87 and the drivers door keeps jamming where it wont budge open or closed. sometimes you could pull both handles and get it open sometimes not. I have the door panel off and fiddled around with the latch mechanism, feels like there is a spring action kind of thing that the handle rod pushes down on that has lost its tension. So im guessing the latch needs to be taken out and rebuilt or replaced. Anyone ever do this before? Its prolly gonna be tough with the door stuck shut, even though the panel is off. Any recommendations as to where to buy a new latch assembly if needed? Thanks!
