6th Gen ('00-'05): Dale Jr Hi-Sport Rocker Molding - Outrageous Prices
Looking for a passenger Rocker Extension for the '04 Dale Jr SS.
I found the part number and all the info
https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...9153359?c=az0x
But the Why TF are they so expensive?
None of the salvage yards seem to have a Monte with HiSportPkg.
I've checked a lot of the Forums Classifieds.
Ebay has come up short.
Anyone here know where to find them on the cheap? Or wanna sell me a set?
I can get them painted black if need be.

If they're just plain black, I have a left + right pair off a black SS. They aren't in the best condition by a long shot, but when I found them I thought, might as well! Never put them on the car I intended them for and forgot them when it sold. Send me a message!

It appears to be just for one specific trim package of one model of car (thats nearly 20 years old at this point) - ie likely low volume to start with, and likely going up in price as supply dwindles to nothing. TBH, you're lucky they offer it at all - many folks are starting to run into discontinued parts for various items.
Well you're not wrong. LolI guess we've just been spoiled all these years.
The 6th Gen is becoming a classic car at this point.
For so Long I was always able to order stuff from eBay and pull it from the wreckers. But the supply is running low

Try looking through www.car-part.com. A lot of junk yards are inventoried with them and some are willing to ship.
It's the pains of owning a car such as we all do here. I wanted to purchase an extra rear "diffuser" from ebay but before i did i asked the sell about how he packaged them(because he would bend them) and it got to a nasty point and he got very offensive tell him not to tell him how to do his business..... I told him f off I didn't need his part and he insisted I did. A week later, he contacted me apologized and told me he wanted my business and wanted my money, I told him cool eat ish and I'd never do business with a weasel.
All this to say, people are sitting on parts and charging a premium, it's up to u if you want to pay it. If I hadn't gotten into it with said weasel, I probably would have paid and taken the chance on a bent part.
