I was wondering if anyone know what a ball park estimate would be for me to get stripes put on my 05 monte. I was thinking about something like what you could get on the 07 ss models.

 

I'm guessing it varies quite a bit by area. Are you looking for vinyl or paint? I'm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I had some vinyl work done recently:

Two 10" rally stripes with 1/4" pin stripe (same as ones from http://www.autotrimdesign.net/)
3" stripe along bottom of both doors, going from front to rear wheel well with a 1/4" pin stripe along it also
1/8" pin striping along the indents on the fenders (all four)
Small 20 character phrase on the back of my car

All together, with labor and tax the total came to 361$.

 

vinyl would be the way i would go. and yah i would want something just like what you have. I already have the thin lines going down the sides of my car and i may want to take those off, however i have heard i would see a line from where it was on my car

 

well broken down the prices were:
225$ for the rally stripes
75$ for the rocker panel stripes
25$ for the pin striping
10$ for the phrase
+tax

I think the pin striping leaving behind a mark would probably depend on how long it's been there. I would guess the only mark you might see is that the paint isn't as faded as the paint around it but you could always buff it out.
