Cool bumper ideas w/possible ground effects
So, I'm fishing for some opinions here...
About two weeks ago, my 2002 SS was hit in the rear bumper. It will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, I am left with the bill because it was a hit and run. I guess I've accepted the pain of having to pay for a new bumper cover, but I'm trying to decide whether or not to have a factory bumper cover put on or have a high quality aftermarket bumper cover installed with some cool but not over the top ground effects. Also, my front bumper needs a bit of work as well, so that will likely be re fabricated as well.
I feel like this is my chance to invest in adding ground effects if I'm going to do so. What do you all think?

It's a great chance to do something to make your car stand out. If you were ever planning on doing it, I guess you couldn't get much more incentive that you have at the moment.
I say go for it, as the paint will cost just about the same whether it is a new factory or an aftermarket bumper, and honestly the aftermarket bumpers are comparable in price to the factory ones, unless you are buying used that is

Keep in mind molded fiberglass bumpers will need work before painting as they are not perfect (I learned the hard way) but if done right it can and will look amazing!
