Why is this so hard to find for my car?

 

I did a quick search and you are correct.
I would venture to guess that there just isn't enough call for them to make it.
You might want to consider a wrap if you are just looking for the look of Carbon Fiber.

 

I am definitely not looking for the look, I am looking for the weight reduction. I am only able to find two options, but they are a bit high in price and was hoping to find other options but as you know from your quick search.

 

I have seen a hood with a scoop for the 6th Gen that is a bit of a composite material, I think Dynaflex is the manufacturer and they also do ground effects as well. if I happen to run into something I will let you know.


I think the Carbon fiber process is pretty detailed and expensive, I saw something about it on the Show how it's made.

 

You would most likely have a company make one custom and that would be very very expensive. For the weight savings I feel it's not worth it, plus your fwd so more weight over the front the better anyway
