Well I finally got some SS bumper extensions for my LS. I stumbled across a used bumper website and called the guy. I told him what I was looking for and he said he was sure he had them and asked that I call back in a couple of days. I gave him a few days and called him back. He said he found them and was willing to sell them for only $50 each, plus shipping. I said no problem, let me know how much shipping will be so I can pay for them. Well, at that point he kind of started dragging his feet. Turns out in the end he became hesitant to pull the extensions from good bumper covers, and I can't say I blame him. After a month of phone calls though, he finally packaged them up and sent them via FedEx. He felt guilty enough about putting me off that he shipped them free! So now I have the front and rear extensions, both in very good shape for only $100!

Now my real dilemma: what color to go with? I thought I was going to go black, but now I'm thinking silver with a black stripe. Any thoughts?

Great Deal.... Ya I Think Silver on Silver Looks SEXY.... But Im in the middle of maybe Getting My kit Painted.. I work in a mechanical shop and the body shop next to us said if i take them off. He would Paint them Any color I would Like for 200 bucks.. Im thinking of a royal blue with metalic.. Not sure
2nd option is My hood has some rock chips an needs to be fixed. was thinking insted of painting kit I would Get him to paint some Ghost Flames.. Im not Sure on what I want but after winter thiers going to be some body paint

 

wow, thats an amazing deal/find, i've been searching for a pair of those myself. as for the color i'd stick with silver to, unless youve got a two tone color scheme going.

 

Yeah, silver it is. I thought of black only to complement the black already on the car, and also because I've got a nice pair of gloss black rockers and the front extension. But I think silver will look awesome. Thanks for the feedback!
