Default 2004 SS - bumper extensions/skirts removal - how easy?

Hi.
I'm looking at repainting the bumper extensions and skirts on my '04. How easy are they to remove from the car?
I see a lot of small bolts around but I also see some form of clips on the front bumper extension. I don't want to remove the entire bumper cover, just the extension. I don't know if those clips are a bear to remove.
Has anyone done this before?
Thanks.

Well I guess there's no other way to find out than to do it :-)
I will report back in a week or so when I return from vacation. Hopefully it's easy as pie (not that I'm a good cook though).

sorry, i didn't see the first post

they're actually not that hard, jack the car up and be carefull with the clips when you pop them off, but once you pop each clip then it just slides out of the holes and comes off...easier to take off then put on

Nope, they aren't too bad at all. I redid mine because the silver was getting all scratched and faded.

Yea its pretty easy to get off, not to hard to get on if you have a extra hand to help hold pieces up
