Blackout tail lights...

Default Blackout tail lights...

I really want to put the blackout tail lights on mine, but hubby says they are illegal and I will get pulled over. I see alot of people have them on here. Please I would like some advice. Who would I call to find out what is legal in my state. I am in Tn. Thanks

If you can't see the brake lights from a certain distance it would be illegal.

That's all, so if you wanted to get them tinted, just don't black it out.

ya i would recommend getting VHT Nite Shades - Black Out Taillight Spray & Clear though i have not done it yet i have heard this stuff is good and you can spray as dark as you want 1-3 coats recommended so that it is not to dark and you can get both cans at amazon for around $20 ....or you can buy the gt style ones that you can remove if you dont like or cops bust your *****
