Default Black Monte

I know gloss black is a classic '80s color, but has anyone done a non-traditional black on their Monte? I'm sure someone has, but I haven't seen it. What's the consensus on the non-gloss black on the 4th Gen? I was thinking of trying a satin black (kinda like the chevelle from Faster http://fireballtim.com/blog/wp-conte...1/DSC00720.jpg ).

It has a very subtle shine to it...it's not completely flat. Maybe this does it better justice.

I like it. There's definitely a way to make it look tacky, too. But I think that color can look very nice.

I like it on "true" muscle cars...I'm still not sold on 4th Gen Monte's. Thanks for your insights.

Satin black. Well it's all a matter of what YOU like of course. But to me, that color is best left for hoods of 70s Mach I's , Challengers, and Cudas, no car should ever be painted entirely in that color.
