bedliner as a paint

Lightbulb bedliner as a paint

now i saw a monte in my area not the long ago a 97 like mine with bed liner along the bottom below the chrome strip i thought it looked badass and seeing as my monte has no major rust yet maybe itd help protect it thoughts? cost? worth it?

I'm sure a car would cost less, but for my truck they quoted me $700 from Rhino Linings

You can but they nvr seem to last as good as the pro stuff

Bedliner isnt going to keep your car from rusting out. Its going to be a PITA to keep clean and will look chalky over time. If the bottom of your car is in good shape, dont mess it up with bedliner.

Some of my friends have bedliner on the lower portions of their trucks. When first applied is looks pretty good, but over time it becomes chipped and as mrl390 mentioned it gets a chalky appearance to it. That may not be too bad for a 4X4 that you take offroad on the weekends, but I think it would look like you know what on a Monte.
