Aluminum Trunk Lid Tension Rods (3rd Gen.)
Did you find a Aluminum trunk lid for your 3rd gen Monte? If so, I hope you got the rite tension rods.
The first Aluminum trunk lid I got started to bend rite in front of the hinges. After some investigating I realized the tension rods for the steel lid are thicker.
The differance is visable. The Aluminum Tension rods are alot thinner.
When looking for a replacement trunk lid for the one I bent I found some other parts I needed. I saved money and bought the whole car for parts, along with another Monte they had.
From junkyard to my driveway
