Default 7th gen LT to SS grille change over..

I was wondering if this can be done and how difficult it would be to do? I've wanted to do this for a long time now and maybe someone here can let me know the difficulty in doing something like this. I saw a listing on ebay for both the LT and SS and the compatibility for this says it will not fit.... I would like to do both upper and lower if it is possible. Let me know your thoughts, thanks

change from this: LT grille

to this: SS grille.... it looks easy enough right?

I know, if I wanted the look of an SS, I should have bought an SS...

Looks simple enough, I'd give it a try.
Don't feel bad, your Monte is just as nice as an SS.
Hell i'll swap you my Dale :P

I don't think it will be that easy Jose, I remember I asked Michael (MAMONTE) a long time ago and he said it would be pretty hard to do?

Maybe, Greg (Miller) might be able to help, I did ask him before, but I think I may have confused him with what exactly I wanted to do?

I bet you can do this very easily. Our bumpers are the same except for the lower skirt.

I really don't see why it wouldn't work, the LS and SS models in our Gen are the same, I could see it just being an insert that can swap.

The only difference I see in the SS is that it is missing 2 holes on the end. Can you see what your LT has in those holes if anything?

Like I said, if it can be done, I would really like to make the change over to the SS grille! Not gonna happen anytime soon though, just a little to cold!
