Tell me bout it, searched my car and couldn't find crap. The officer was like I know u got it, where is it. I'm like dude, I work in the pharmacy field, drugs ain't in my criteria unless I wanna lose my license.

Some officers just run with the typical tint stereotype. I've been pulled over by two county sheriff and one State trooper (in my 03 in the past) and out of those the State trooper didn't give me any crap for the tint. The county sheriff gave me huge lessons as to why it's illegal and gave me my options as to if I wanted to remove it or take the ticket. In the instances where I've been given an option, I opted for the ticket. County were also the ones that found every other little thing they could and gave me warnings for them.
More recently, I was pulled over in the 06 by Ann Arbor police this past November and approached by two officers, one on each side of the car. Turns out they were basically profiling and just gave me a warning for the tint.
It's all a game of luck really, and wrong place wrong time kinda thing. Depends on the officer as well and what kind of day they're having. I know some could care less about tint but others will treat you like you just committed a felony. Again, they see the whole stereotype of that young punk out to cause trouble.
