there are holes under-neath the side molding. I peeled the back off near the rear fender and it reveals a hole. There's probably a couple along the whole thing but nothing a little bondo, primer, paint, and clear coat wont fix. You can have bodyshop do that for you, dont know how much they would charge though. My guess is close to 100-150 for both doors

On the 5th Gens there is not holes, you can easily just take them off.

It seems like the 00-05 Monte Carlos have alot of things that aren't made for them. Projector headlights, clear corners, etc. That and alot of things that aren't easily accessable. Although that could be argued because it just shows that they're built like champs!

150 bucks wouldnt even cover cost of materials for that work in a body shop. I wouldnt recommend just bondoing the holes either. They would need welded up and then smoothed over with bondo. Then primer and painting, then clearing the whole door and quarter, also depending on the location of the holes, you would probably need to blend the base coat into the fenders to get the color to match then clear all the panels together. Not a cheap job unfortunately. You could get away with only painting the doors and quarters only depending on how well the color match or how picky you were. For the hassle involved you would be better off just leaving them on.
