Default Water damage on windows

I apologize if this is in the wrong section.

I have a lot of streak marks and you can see where the dealership wrote on the windows when it was in auction or for whatever reason they wrote on the windows. My windshield has stains as well above where the wipers couldn't hit. I didn't notice this until 3 days after I bought the car and had my windows tinted.

I've tried various cleaners such as vinager, CLR, lime out, alcohol and so on. Nothing has worked and I'm running out of ideas.

Any suggestions?!

im not sure it would help, but maybe a clay bar could do something... i had all kinds of crap on my windshield and when i clayed my car it took it all off...

i guess it's worth a try, it wouldn't be a total loss though, you can clay bar your car!

Hi Chad, & Welcome to the MCF.

I agree with 03Monte `Shane...Clay Bar has always worked for me.

Auto Glass shops can also buff out strains in Glass.
p.s. have you asked the dealer you purchased from to correct their damage ?

Good Luck....

Is this something that's easy to find or more of a specialty?
