Hey makes cents, Don't I need the boost gauges out of the 2004 or 2005 SSS monte?.....so it's gonna be 225.00 for the whole kit of things I need

Think about it. When you rebuild you usually bore a bit over. Thinner cylinder walls now. Also more parts in there you probably didnt replace like a crank that now has wear so there is a few thousands extra play with bearings. Like on a boxer motor even tho pistons ride on a sheet of oil and dont actualy touch the cylinder walls the cylinders become egg shaped from wear. Its not even really noticable by the naked eye but the wear is there. rebuilds dont last as long as new engines. but we are talking if just a stock rebuild no power boost you get 120k instead of 150k for example. so most ppl wont even need to do a second rebuild but this is why it is always good not to go with max bore over when doing a rebuild. leaves you room to rebuild again. Alot of ppl ruin an engine by going straight to 60 over instead of doing 30 first. adds a few cubic inches and a bit of power but you lose a rebuild. I dont know what max is on a 3800 befor needing to sleeve the cylinders but 60 is close to max on my 340.

Yes makes since I was thinking thinner walls but didn't think about the 30 and 60 over bore make you lose a rebuild good to know thanks.....The BIG QUESTION IS ...how to hook this supercharger up to my ECM
