why do people not take care of their cars?

i think the worst is when there is litterially so much garbage/crap it litterially is up to the botom of the window, it looks like the car is lowered and the only place to sit is the driver seat
This was my brothers 01 sl2 he bought it for $400 buck he said it was just nasty and he found cig butts in every crook and crany, the carpet was black when i started

Thank you sir! his main concern was the stench so the little bit of staining that was left was fine by him, i told him i could get them out but he didn't care since he had nice rubber floormats to go back in

my gf has an sl2 and it was nasty when she got it...must be something about that type of car :p

Some people are lazy and just don't care about the appearance of their cars. I get embarrassed when my Silver Monte gets dirty - I just can't drive it that way.

36mpg out of my auto and made it through the december blizzard with bald tires it's not a bad DD/cheap to fix! i can't complain to much, but would ditch it for a 5-7th gen monte in a heartbeat tho!!!!
speaking of dirty car i need to clean it up, hasn't had any love since we got the intrigue!
we should start taking nasty car pics and see who finds the worst!

i have never had a friend (even those who cared about their cars)
who didnt have a floorboard full of trash. everything from rusty old car parts to fastfood bags and spilled drinks.'
i usually ended up driving everywhere so i could actually have room for my feet, but when id get home, my backseat would be full of trash and dirt. call me obsessive, but i like to have room to breathe in my car
