Okay guys, I'm sure you've had something similar happen to you guys before... I had been looking for a TON of parts for my car, 04+ Grand Prix front leather seats, Highsport sides, lots of bigger parts like that..

Now, I decide to demod and stop with my car and they all pop up right away. What is up with that?!

Has anyone ever had something similar happen before? You look for something for the longest time, then you decide you don't want or need it and then it pops right in front of you... yet you no longer have a need for it lol

I'm going to stop looking for a 2012+ 2SS/RS under $10k and maybe.. just maybe.. poof!

 

Get lucky on eBay like I did and then go on an adventure to other states just to pick it up

Sounds like the story of my life. My whole life has been like that.

 

I've normally had it happen where when I finally get what I was after, that item shows up EVERYWHERE (usually for a better price too). I feel fortunate when I bought my Monte, I had not seen a comparable one for a better price for about 2 years (and seriously, after 2 years, it doesn't count).

 

Happens to me once in a while.

The worst time was right after I bought my Ninja, an R1 came up for about 2k below book value within 3 days of me buying my Ninja. Really wish I would have held off.. I probably would have kept the R1 to this day vs. just fixing and selling it like I did with the Ninja. Oh well, some day I'll find another good deal on one, just gotta wait for it....

This also happened after I bought my supercharger. I was saving up money for supercharging and/or rims and lowering. Bought my M90 and the rest of the supercharger kit and then a mint set of Eagle 077s came up on Des Moines craiglist but of course I had no money, too bad that they are long gone now

 

Yup was giving up on my quest for a newer Monte in my price range and poof this 6th gen smacks me in the face and they financed so well now I have it

 

Happened with steering wheel buttons, last year.
