And yes, GPD, I AM easily offended when it comes to racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, and any other deliberately offensive remarks. Stuff like that literally makes my blood boil.
However, I CAN give and take with the best of them, just wondered if the mods were ok with that, or if the racist, etc remarks were acceptable to them and others here. From what I've seen so far, those remarks are fine with the majority here.
In a previous thread I got similar remarks from someone else, and NOT ONE person objected. I know its a free country, and if that is the type of people that are here, I'll just move along. I'll wait and see what some more folks say first, though.

Sorry all, I forgot about the little Republican/Conservative minds. For those who don't know, here are some links explaining those big, scary words:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenophobia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homophobia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexism

Damn, Dave, I figured somebody of your descent would be a little more intolerant of racist remarks, but I forgot that is what Republicans are all about. If you can't scare them with something (9/11, terrorists, taxes, gays, flag-burners, atheists, Jews, Mexicans, Hillary) they won't vote for you.

Not sure WTF 07MonteSS is talking about with the "country going up in flames" comments, but I will say this:

I never saw our country so united as after the 9/11 attacks, and I have never seen it so divided since the 2004 elections. If I could have my way, I would destroy both major political parties and start from scratch. Neither party at this time seems to care about the little people, you and me. Its all big money and big business, 24/7. 365.

Before this thread goes any further, I ask people to read this link if you haven't read it already.

https://montecarloforum.com/m_71267/tm.htm

Also, the Forum's Rules cover racist and sexist content, and flaming. There is to be no more of it.

Anyone who cannot discuss politics in a civilized manner, shouldn't be in the political threads.

And complaining about not discussing Monte Carlos in the Off Topic section is just ridiculous. Every forum has an Off Topic section, and it's obvious what it's for. It's even written in small print under "Off Topic" in the main menu screen.

It wasn't aimed at you specifically, Dave.
I was covering all the problems we've had in all the political threads in the past week or so.
