I'm with Mad717 on this!
There are Forums where you can go and write anything you damn well please and not have to worry about ofending anyone because the whole idea is to see if you can out-flame the previous poster with ridicule, sexist, racist and just about any off-color comment you can conjure-up!

In my personal opinion, I'm deeply distressed it's happening in here.

I landed on Monte Carlo Forum after doing a Google search for information that would be helpful to me in matters related to making the owning of a Chevy Monte Carlo more enjoyable. For awhile, I was getting that much out of it.

Now, out of boredom or some other motivation, the discussions are less about Monte Carlo's and more about not Monte Carlo and there doesn't seem to be a traffic cop willing to step-in and Moderate these discussions one bit.

If I were a Moderator, I'd be telling you to take that crap someplace else or just do us all a favor and unplug your damn computer.

Their words are saying more about the authors than the authors are saying about what they are espousing.

In my personal opinion ...

Take it to where it's welcomed by people who share the same opinions that you do.
Don't expect Monte Carlo Owners to appreciate reading your opinions about what you think about anything other than what GM made for us to drive.
I'm quite sure there are more than just Mad717 and I that are disturbed by it.

Find another place to sound-off about your Political opinions.
This don't seem like the right place for it.

WTF moderators? Are you going to allow comments like this, that add nothing to the discussion, to continue, or are you going to allow anything goes? Seems like it's ok for big Mitt to cry, and John McCain to cry, but not Hillary. Also, God has NOTHING to do with politics, and the blatant racism really isn't appreciated, either. Mr Obama happens to be an AMERICAN. What part of that do you folks have a problem with?
Not sure what GPD's take on that would be (what if the name was Rodriguez or Hernandez instead of Obama?) , but if they were Rethugs I imagine it would be fine.
With all due respect, chill out man. This is a free self governed forum. The comments weren't that bad. If I were paying to post here, I miight get on the mods.

Even though I hate the current liberal press, I say they have every right to say whatever they want.

A few months ago, majority of americans wanted a democrat to be president. Now that we are into the process, its time for a feeler, Who wins?
Great thread Craig. Good to see who is too easily offended.

Liberal media???

[sm=wtf.gif]

Not sure what you mean by that but let's take a look:

ABC - parent company Walt Disney -conservative
CBS - parent company Viacom - conservative
NBC - parent company General Electric - conservative
FOX - parent company News Corp - conservative

Unless you are listening to Air America, I wouldsay the majorityof American news and media outlets are owned and operated by conservative organizations.

Not commenting due to the fact that I now want to be a good unofficial Grandpa for the goodunofficial Monte Carlo Forum so that Cowboy can now be a good cheerful top ten poster.
