Once upon a Time a young Alien landed on Planet Earth
in pursuit of a Vehicle named the
Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
His leader's & commander wanted this vehicle
for their transportation needs on Planet `Space.
The young alien searched everywhere,
but found that Canada & the USA
had the best selection of
this human Spacecraft.
He joined the MCF in 2005
and he keeps searching & looking @ the
best Monte Carlo's on the Planet.
They can't seem to get rid of him (?)
Has anyone lost their Monte ?
It maybe in outer `space now ?

Actually...
I was in the market for a vehicle that would comfortably accommodate me as an amputee... I actually needed something that was easy for me to get in and out of as well as have a wide door opening... I looked at many GM products including a Buick Riviera... But it really didn't have the room I needed to get easily in and out of...
I certainly didn't want any 4 door grocery getter... that's for sure...
So, my last resort was the Monte Carlo...
and low and behold... It fit me perfectly... So, rather than just buying one off the lot..I wanted something cool looking as well as being stylish.. I didn't want to look like a gimp in a gimp looking kinda ride..like a mini van or something along those lines... I wanted function/fit over being a complete handicapper...accessability type vehicle...
So I custom ordered one from the factory... and planned on keeping it til the wheels fell off...and 14 yrs later it still serves that very purpose... I believe I will have it til I take that final dirt nap as it has a certain meaning in my life that will never change..just like my being disabled/Handicapped...
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Navy Vet, Grand daddy, Have lived in almost every state in the U.S. doing Computer programming and Y2K stuff, spent some time in Cuba (Gitmo) curtsy Uncle Sam. (In the Navy... wise guys not an inmate) LOL
Looking to retire and hang up my decoder ring in 1 year 8 months
Have a part time job lined up working in a local Body shop after I retire so from suit to paint gun (Love it)
