My first was a 1965 Impala, and in a sort of way I DO still have it, parts of it, in this one!

Back seat , all glass, all stainless, and I believe a door belong to the original!!

Mine was a 1957 Ford Convertible 312 automactic. Yellow with a Black top. Had that for 2 yrs. Funny thing was I had that car when I met my wife. Her brother had the same car. Right down to the engine and interior color.

My first car was a 1982 Olds 98. The car was maroon with a maroon interior and it was bought new. It was a hand me down from my folks when I got it in 2000. By that time, the car had some years on it, it had a leaky transmission, engine was weak (about 140 hp from a freakin' 307 V8!) and it had a "Landau" roof. By 2004, the engine and tranny were replaced. The car had tons of sentimental value and I just couldn't let her go.. The interior was mostly redone, as was the vinyl top. There's even a link to it:

That hasn't been updated since 2006- I'm happy it's still up. After ~24 years with our family, we had to let her go.. It was breaking down on a weekly basis by that point. In there, it says that I got a new car on February 11, 2006. Guess which car that was.. The Olds found a new home (I still have the VIN and check up on her) and probably gets driven when the owners can take out a second mortgage to put gas in the tank!

Oh and by the way, if anyone is wondering, I still have the TV set that's on the second page of my old car's site. Not too long ago, the Monte and I were watching "Talladega Nights" on it after a nice detailing. It was freaking epic!

I should put you in touch with MCF's lead admin Patrick. I'm pretty sure he currently owns a Mirada. We don't see him much here because he's a Mopar guy and spends most of his time on mopar sites.

Tadd...

I fixed up the picture of your '62 Comet. Nice car!

'79 Chevy Step-side, got it when I was 14. I still have it although at the moment it is just sitting here. Hubby's was a '56 Chevy step-side, still have it too but it's in pieces because they were fixing up it up for my son until he converted to the darkside - Honda, LOL, so it also sits. Someday I would love to restore both of them.

I LOVED my '03. It was a black LS Sport 5 speed coupe. I wish I had never gotten rid of it.
