...first car
......My first car was a hand-me-down from my Mom. A 1972 Chevelle Concours
Estate Sta. Wagon..... Yeah, I wasn't very cool in high school with that big
tank but it got me around. It was brown metallic with the fake wood decal on the
sides. I have a photo of a simular car on my photobucket page.
Hey Taz ! You and I have had the same Car ! I did a double take
when I saw your Type -10. I had a CL model with the 2.0FI 90-110hp Whooo
It was a good car and I really enjoyed it. I wrecked one time and had a Z-24
hood put on instead of the regular one. Had it repainted once. Sold it with 136,000mi. I do miss it

JJ, your truck was a '60? why the heck was i thinking it was a '62, lol. my buddie has a
'60 chevy 1 1/2 ton stake body truck setting in his feild. neat old truck, could make a great parts truck for someone if they could get it outta there. his dad wanted $100 for it, no takers. its gonna get sliced up for scrap this spring but imma see if i can "help" by saving the dash / guages & other trim thats still good for a swapmeet
and a '72 chevlelle wagon? COOOOOL! lol, idk why but i love wagons. the olds i had i was working on turning into something more interesting, shaved the roof rack and some of the trim, i had buckets & a console for the interior along with a front clip for a '442 i was gonna attach, then paint it jet black. kinda like the one below, only with a set of slotted mags if i could find 'em with the right bolt pattern

first car was a 67 camaro RSSS 350. got it on my 16 th b-day in 1975. drove it every day for 8 years and the back half rusted away. about 2 months ago I got it over to my buddys house and have started restoring it. at one time I had 10 tickets in a 2 year span.the headliner still has that wacky tobacky smell.

My 1st car I OWNED was a '64 Impala SS, aqua blue with white vinyl interior. I learned to drive in a white '65 Rambler Classic. My Dad traded that for a green '66 Rambler Rebel station wagon the day of my drivers test. So I had to take the test in that, never driven it before, and had to parallel park the thing, and it took me 3 trys. Thought I was going to fail my test, but he passed me anyways. I drove that for almost a year (when Dad would let me) before I got the Impala.
