ive got a Cobra... bought it for about $60 on sale at circuit city.. stuck the thing on my windshield and plug it in

had it for about 4 years now.. theyre legal here in Missouri so cops cant do anything about it

i have no complaints with it at all.. the display stopped working about a few months ago

but basically the thing still beeps when it needs to... saved me from probably hundreds of tickets
Ive gotten ONE (my first) ticket since ive had it... and thats cuz the cop supposedly "paced" me

sounds like a great deal! Does the "pop" feature work good for you on the cobra?

I have a Passport 8500 hardwired into the drivers A pillar, with the detector stuck in the bottom corner of the dash. I can pickup an active radar about a mile away. Legal here in Michigan. My wife got me this for Christmas a couple of years ago. Was the best rated then.

Rockin SS, thats a great install! Clean! No wires all over your dash... The one im looking to upgrade to has a kit like yours where you can hardwire it, and also have a 12 volt speaker with it to really give you an alert when the radio is up loud..

MrRench, I can cruise in my area anything between 110-125, so Having one is a MUST when you are running on the highway with my buddies and their mustangs and camaros... lol
