got the idea for this thread from matt's gripes, complaints & concerns thread.

what do you LOVE about your monte? big things, little things, what options it came with from the factory, ect...


me, i love the fact that i get great fuel milage with it,

that the original owner optioned it with power bucket seats ( nice for someone tall like me),

that it has buckets & a console instead of a bench seat,

that it has a CD player instead of a tape deck,

that its been reliable as all hell

its my first car thats been legally on the road

it has great heat

and most of all, its RED!!

so what does everyone else LOVE about their monte carlos?

 

I love that it is large, but sporty, quick, and comfortable. Its a GREAT color. Enjoyable to drive!

 

I think it would be easier to list all the things I don't love about my car.

It's a blast to drive, and it's comfortable!!!
I have a great amount of power and still get 32 MPGs on the highway
I have so many creature comforts, leather, heated seats, space, dual-zone.
It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
I hardly have to do anything mechanically. Everything I do is just because I want to, not because I NEED to.

It's going to be 11 years old, and it still looks so sharp, and people are always complimenting it.

It's black, on black, with great accents.

 

I think I like everything about my Montes - the look, the ride comfort, the performance, the gas mileage, the look - oops I said that already, the options, the car info centers, steering wheel radio controls, the size, it's a 2 door - the list can go on and on.....

 

The first thing I fell in love with this car is it's A$$....when I first saw the rear of this car, I knew I had to have it...

The front I didn't like as much at first, BUT it has grown on me exponentially...

I also like the side lines...no other car on the road today has it's bulges and swoopyness, everything on other cars is straight and blah, but those lines really make it stand out as a Monte Carlo...

I like that it was one of the first cars to incorporate retro lines and ques while keeping it fresh and new, something chevy did long before the retro craze...

I LOVE the room, the trunk is HUGE even witha full system back there I have plunty of room for stuff in the trunk, plunty of leg room in the front and back...

I like the lil things like the dimming rear view mirror, and the heated side mirrors, those are cool features to have

I can deal with the fwd in bad weather although I will never get a fwd vehicle ever again...

My biggest gripe was lack of power, but I rectified that situtation, now I am a fan of the sleeper effect and the surprise it gives people...

Too many things to list so I will keep it short and sweet
my Monte is : Big and Sexy just like me !!! that is why I Love my Monte Carlo

 

It's fast, looks good, and it's very comfortable.

 

First and foremost I love her because she is a memorial/tribute to my mom which is a great feeling when I am out driving, especially, the pride I have in her. Wow! I can agree with all of you on what I love! The more I dress her up, the more people try to race me at a light, lol! She is sexy and roomy, great gas mileage, love the supercharger, great options, comfort, style, I love adding things to make her my own, try to be unique and different.......like me!!!

I forgot to say my car just like me lives 1/4 a mile at a time ! LOL

 

There is only ONE thing I dont like about my monte, and that is its lack of power. But that would come with anything cause I dont think I would be happy unless I had a good 500 horses to the wheels, other than that, I love everything about it
