I work in an assisted living facility, I provide for those with disabilities both physical and mental. Before that I worked in a wide range of retail and restaurant, and I hated it. The job I have now is pretty laid back, it has it's moments. But I like it so far. I am in school to be an auto tech, soon hopefully.

Talking Build great (scratch that) Awesome cars.

I run a small custom shop that builds cars to suit. The bulk of our work is just reworking what others screwed up or simply upgrading parts that the factory would have used if they knew better..... Disk brakes, suspensions, steering etc.... What we love is add modern technology throughout the entire car. Dropping in LS engine, modern gauges, large calipers.... etc. If you can dream it, we will find a way to make it happen.

In addition to my DJ work I also do labor work for a water/fire restoration company. Its fun I get to do a bunch of demolition but hauling the trash out is no fun. Sewer jobs aren't much fun either.

I love this thread, some of you guys have some seriously interesting jobs.

As of now I'm studying mechanical engineering, and working in a truck repair shop, I help out on the mechanical parts and in the body shop. I'm learning some awesome tricks!

I teach US History in an alternative high school. I love the job really. My first and second period classes have 10 people each in them. My third period is a lab where I team teach with an assistant teacher in a computer lab. That class has 14 world history students and a sociology student and they work in these computer module programs.

Our school is "too good for subs" as our principal says, so if a teacher misses, we have a rotation where someone covers half the class, so I have 4th period plan, but I also have to sub for the first half of fourth period should I be needed.
