Several of the Senior citizen's that helped raise me with my g/father visit the MCF & read our post. Yes, they are constantly reminding me of the way I abuse the English language : ).

When I went 2 the bank yesterday, I ran in2 several of them, and they all commented on your Thread Post & Pictures. They all really loved them.

I just wanted you to know that it is not just the memeber's that view & love your posts, but there are many that visit on the World Wide Web
that also enjoy

Ahh, Space, I think you made me blush. That was sweet of you.
I'm glad they enjoy them. I tried to get some hummingbird pics yesterday but the little hummer wouldn't stay put and the lighting was bad, so I'll try again another day. If I get some decent ones, I'll post them.

 

Not sure about other parts of the US. But I think the paranoia about tourists taking pics of local landmarks kinda subsided over the last few years.

I did notice that when I google searched pics of the Ambassador Bridge, most pics were taken either from aerial shots, from boats, or from the Canadian side. But I think that's because of the public access to the river front on the Detroit side; or lack of it. The Detroit side just recently installed a "river walk" walkway along the riverfront around the GM World Headquarters area, Hart Plaza area.

But for many, many decades, the Detroit side of the riverfront was privately owned by industry. So it wasn't accessible to the public. The Canadian side of the riverfront is pretty much all public parkland / touristy area.

 

Look what landed in my yard today, a black-bellied whistling duck, aka tree duck.

Becky, You have captured another great picture of another excellent example by the Creator of `all. I am constantly amazed at all the beauty that is in `life. I really love `life, and am thankful that I can see the beauty, hear the sounds, smell the flowers, feel the breeze, & taste the food that is grown on Planet `Earth. We R so Blessed 4 Sure & I don't take it 4-granted.

I am also thankful, and so will my senior citizen friends when they check in2 the MCF & see new awesome pic's by you.
