Default v8 impala???

I saw a 95 impalla ss for sale with a v8. Did not even know they made those. Since it is basically a 4 door monte wouldnt the conversion of a monte same year be very easy? It looked like it was rwd from the underhood shot.

Nothing close to a Monte, actually it's a Caprice with different skin on it.

The Impala was not always a kin to the Monte.

the '95 Impala is RWD, LT1 powered and on a Caprice platform (not sure what platform it is). The Impala did not join the W-Body platform (which includes the 5th gen Monte on up) until 2000. At which point, the Impala became FWD.

A '95 Monte and '95 Impala is like comparing a 2000 Monte to a 2000 Camaro, apples and oranges.
