Yeahh it most def sucks! I use my laptop all day everyday at school so it's gotta be from using this and the dumb mouse pad. I looked up ways to prevent it and one of the things said to buy braces to help support your wrists sooo it looks like I'm gonna be doing that most def this week bcuz this is horrible! My wrists are really reallyyyy small too so that might have something to do it I think since there is not much room for expansion and swelling in there. I measured my wrist a longgg time ago but I can't remember what the measurement was but I'd say 5 inches at the very most wrapped around

Thanks guys & thanks a lot Joe lol I already feel old. My wrists are getting better with these annoying braces but it still hurts like hell if I do things like use the mouse pad on my laptop instead of using the wireless mouse. it just really sucks knowing I have this problem at only 20 years old =( this is gonna make me life extremely difficult at times for now on

Yesterday I was on my laptop for hours trying to do a special project to take to car shows with me & I noticed later on that my left wrist started hurting really bad again on the inside (it's been happening off and on lately) and I told my mom. She told me to stay away form the laptop and phone and told me to wrap my wrist in order to keep it straight and so far it's kinda working. So yeah until this pain completely goes away for a bit I probably won't be able to post on here nearly as much it sucks bcuz this is my spring break this week (although it's more like winter break with the few inches of snow outside right now!) and with my first show being this next Saturday. I'll try to get on here quickly as much as possible but in this short amount of time (I'm a quick typer) that I'm typing out this thread my right wrist is starting to hurt. I'm hoping that I'm at the point of no return that's for sure. But anyway just wanted to let y'all know in case any of y'all wonder where the hell I went.
Sorry to hear it. I know it's no fun.

In 1986 I developed tendonitis in my right wrist from my job. The hand specialist called it: Right Interesection Syndrome. It's where the two tendons intersect that operate your hand and your thumb. My former employer put me through h--l ove this. Sent me to see 8 different doctors as they didn't want to have to pay for my surgery. After they fired me from my job, I had to hire a Worker's Comp lawyer. I won my case. But I lost everything in the meantime. The monies I had saved up I was able to put myself through college and got a degree in Marketing.

I lost a woman I was very fond of. My family liked her very much as well. But she couldn't handle my not working. The lawyer told me, "You work (like another job) and you will definately loose this Worker's Comp case." So I sat around for over a year waiting on Ohio Dept Of Worker's Compensation.

For several years I couldn't hold a wrench. Like to work on my cars. Even after the surgery.

Rest is the best thing. And non-repetative motion.

Man RJ that most def sucks! I'm just really hoping it doesn't get so serious that it affects my jobs in the future. This was my first day back to school in a week & I could feel it in my hand as I was trying to write since I haven't gotten a more flexible brace I can write with

My mon's sister claimed she was defending herself against her first husband one night. She sliced her pinky finger with a butcher knife. It remained bend at the first knuckle like you described till she passed away about 5 years ago.

Just wait till your my age and then you will feels lots of aches and pains LOL!!!!!.
I'm older then you both. And I don't have this problem?

I wore a splint on my right hand/wrist for well over a year. I remember I was at the airport one time either dropping off or waiting on my parents. Some guy wanted to buy the splint as he thought he could use it bowling.
