Hi Jerry, Greg (Sgt Miller) `Mike & Mod `Mike;
Thanks 4 checking in with your Monte Family.
I just finished a 13 hour night shift & it's hot & humid
in Florida 2day. Many area's are having problems
with Wild Fires . So many area's in our country are having
major problems with floods, fires & bad weather conditions.
It's difficult to listen to the World/National & Local news with all the problems many are dealing with.
Wish you reading this a No Problem Day & Good Weather `Day...
Be thankful 2 `be free 2 `be ~>4-Sure...
Many in our World are not : (
......You can make it better.....
"Help those in need `if you can"

Morning Everyone,
Busy weekend at our house. Was trying to figure out why my wife's Monte was running cool and 'Low Coolant Level' idiot light was on. As I was troubleshooting and poking around, the tiny leak I saw at the upper intake manifold gasket turned into a full blown leak. Not gushing, but definitely getting ready to blow. So I started researching how involved that job was to replace that gasket. And I figured I'd replace the lower intake manifold gasket as well since the engine would be half torn down already and it also had 150K miles on it. After doing more research, I decided to try the job myself.
Sunday I got the parts I needed and started disassembling things that night. Spent all day Monday tearing it down, putting it back together. Not technically difficult but lots of detail work. Getting the lower intake manifold back in place was a pain! Whoever designed that plastic coolant elbow should be shot!
I'm about 95% done. Need to purchase a couple of sensors before finishing and refilling with coolant / changing the oil. Praying that I don't have any leaks (please oh please oh please). I'll try to post some pic's tonight or tomorrow.
Dustin- I like the new sig!
