Ouch! `Devin, that's so SAD to see that happen to a new Vette , but it does show that the new Corvette does have great side impact protection I'd be cry'in & fighting `if someone did that to my new `Vette...

Morning y'all. It's hot in western Arkansas today. I'm planning on putting together a big wooden playset and installing new mounts/mounting accessories on the 03 ss this weekend. Hope the heat subsides a little. Have a great day, folks.

Good morning everyone!

Not a very good week at the moment a lot going on, and then to top it off I broke my new prescription sunglasses this morning

I'm hoping things start turning around real quick.

Good Morning Everyone!

OUCH! That poor new Vette is right...although, I agree, it held up well for a t-bone.

Mike..that blows. I've has the same pair of Oakleys for almost 4 years...never lost them. I JUST bought a new pair about 3 weeks ago, and left them at a restaurant, not the old ones, the new ones...$120 down the drain, not a happy camper. I guess I'm saying I kinda know how that feels...

Yes, exactly the look I'm going for so I'm glad you mentioned that. Kind of a Z06 look. Center is staying black, sides (over the valve covers) are going red; lettering will be black. Hoping I can do a semi-gloss clear coat because I don't want it a high gloss.

Thinking of sandblasting the paint off, to start over, granted it doesn't damage the plastic. We have a small blaster at home and we may have walnut shells or something along those lines. At this point, I'm considering possibly taking it to a paint shop and having someone else do it, since this is turning into more of a project than I had initially thought and I just don't have as much time as I'd like for this right now. Probably run over to the dealership that I had the front end repainted at and see what they say. I'll see how I feel in a few days.
