I have had the worst luck with friends. im only 16, but it seems like people only want to be my friend to take advantage of me. and believe me, i dont have much. all my friends get into drugs and crap like that. believe me i have had my fair share with them, but thats not who i am anymore. why is it so hard to find someone that can stay clean, and help me at the same time? i look to my car.. that sounds weird i know but my monte..thats my baby for real and in my eyes..if i get caught doing the ****, then i loose that. i have been clean since Dec 2, 07

The friends that I'm the closest with are the ones that I couldn't offend if I tried. This is a good thing as I often say offensive things but never mean most of it.
Being a guy I tend to think of friends as the ones that you can call whatever you want and they just don't care and vise-versa, they're the ones that are there with you getting in trouble or having a great time.

yes yes. it has been a bit wierd not talking to him. its even harder now cuz right now we are fixing his parents car. so ive talked to them (not about that). but thanks space for all your contributions.
i do like the a friend will bail you out while a true friend is sitting with you in the cell saying that was one hell of a night.

Well put.
I didn't have many friends through HS and college ... but the ones I did ... were good, for the most part. I've become friends with a lot more people over the last few years, between the message boards, the car shows, and my road trips. But, I recently joined FaceBook (upon prodding from my sister) ... and have ALREADY reconnected with a bunch of friends with whom I'd lost touch. Very cool.
