I don't think it's vandalism unless it was done on purpose by the tint guy. It's on the outside. I think he just F'ed it up. End of story.

I wanted to update people about what's happened. Jon, the owner of AAA Mr. Tintz has accepted responsibility and has decided to fully reimburse me for a new window and will retint the front for free.

This has been a huge headache, but I'm so thankful to finally get a favorable agreement. It's a personal victory!

The new window was put in Saturday and I should be getting the tint done this Saturday. He'll owe me $206.

So I WILL recommend them again because it was probably a fluke accident and they came clean and have been honest and professional. All of this news is from the OWNER. I'm pretty sure I was getting all the negativity from installer, who has since been fired.

Glad to hear they finally stepped up and did the right thing. It's to bad it didn't go that way right from the beginning.

I'm glad to hear that you got everything sorted out!

I didn't catch the original story, but I just read through the entire thing! I was totally with everyone else who said that the installer probably cut your tint on your window(dumb).

The owner probably had others come in and complain, too. Hence, the installer being fired, and you being reimbursed...But, in any case, it makes me happy that the owner finally accepted responsibility and replaced your window for you!
