Evening all! Well the 75 Firebird Formula is going to Indiana to get painted - it's going to be black. The guy my Fiance works for (detailing cars on the side) has a huge collection of classic Pontiacs and he knows the painter.

LOL `Rick, LOL....I think snow is beautiful, but I've never been to an area that has had snow...I think I would love it if & would adapt to the cold (?)...I think some winter sports would be a `blast...I hope to try snowboarding someday..
==============================================
YEAH! SPACE Try driving in it for 3 to 4 months. Getting stuck. Or sliding off the rd. Or someone sliding into you. Or have to get out and shovel your driveway at 6 am so you can get out. Have to wear heavy coats & gloves for 3 to 4 months. Car is never clean. Ice hanging from it. Windows dirty. Roads are full of salt and are wet. Inside your car is a mess from the snowbeing brought in from your shoes. Scraping your windows when its 15 degrees and wind blowing up your ***! yeah sounds like FUn huh ? I have NO use for it at all. If you think its fun! Trade with me for a couple of months! I'll stay out there and walk around in shorts & tennis shoes all day & night. And have a cold beer thinking of you

- doors frozen shut
- sleet
- black ice
- windshield wipers frozen under a layer of ice
- windshield wipers stop working due to disgustingly cold temps
- forgetting to bring an ice scraper
- 2-lane roads turn to 1 1/2 lane roads from the snowbanks
- that moment when the light ahead turns yellow and you realize you are too far to make it, need to slam on your brakes, catch ice, lose traction and wind up halfway in the intersection in front of oncoming traffic
- you suddenly stop going up a hill because it's turned to ice
- running outside in your PJs at 6am to warm up the car for 20 minutes
- having to jump start a frozen battery at 6am in below zero temperatures
- various other parts on the car freezing up - literally
- blind spots due to massive snowbanks
- kids throwing iceballs at your car
- sliding into snowbanks and having to call on 3-4 strangers to help push your car back out
- chunks of iceballs falling from the fenders of cars in front of you winds up stuck under your car, denting your hood or cracking your windshield
- when the snow plows are no-shows
- going to kick clumped snow from the fenders and WHOOPS it's actually solid ice
- aaaand... SOUTHERNERS trying to drive in the snow

LOL that list of winter driving is weird. A lot of that has never ever happened in the Monte for me. That's why I love this car.
Also a lot of it seems to attribute to driving too fast for the conditions in the beginning
