That is funny!!! Morning all. It is a bit warmer than it was yesterday here and I'm glad. I'v got to go pick up a truck here in a min. and see whats wrong with it but want to say hi to you guys and gals first. I'm so glad this Forum found me and that I owned a Monte. I had no plan's on modding my car till I started looking around here. It was my wife's car THEN to be honest about it, then I got to looking around and I kind of,,,,,,,,, took it over.lol She wasn't happy about it at first but she's ok with it now. Anyway, everyone have a great day and keep it in between the ditches.

Good Morning Friends! Working from home again. Things are looking up to get the Deuce back in show condition. After this setback she still needs her headers installed

Feeling better about this but the proof will be once I can sign off on the repairs and get her back home

Goodmorning everyone. May have found a nice old car to work on this summer. Nothing certain but the price looks right and Im going to check it out with my brother on sunday. It is a 1974 ford (I know traitorous) gran torino elite. The car is pretty unique even when speaking in terms of torino's. It has Ford's 400 Ci numbers matching engine that runs, can drive but needs a little work. Unfortunately 1974 wasnt exaclty the year for power but I think it would be fun to have a nice numbers matching car to restore. So depending on the rust condition (which doesnt look to bad) it may soon be mine. Here is the CL add for anyone who is curious http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4346022022.html

I would hope I could Squeeze some performance out of 6.6L of displacement lol. It would be fun to see what I can do with it.

That was my first thought, gotta see how much of an aftermarket there is for this engine, I assume its pretty decent but not like the 351 Cleveland thats the other option on this model.

Edit, apparently the M blocks are all pretty interchangeable. And they are very torquey. Im excited
