Evening all. I washed the monte today since things are drying up a bit around here. I cant wait to do a full detail this spring tho. I also ripped my drivers door apart yesterday to fix the power lock. One of the screws that hole the actuator to the mechanism sheared off causing it to crack so I glued it up and its holding so far. It was a pain to get that thing back in but it works good for now.

Sorry to hear about your back - this winter I had a bad cold and was coughing a lot. One afternoon just sitting on the couch, I coughed extra hard and felt a sharp pain in my back. I'd torn a muscle with the violent coughing motion and literally could not stand up without yelling in pain. It took about three days of complete rest (and pain pills) to get to where I could move around a little. Have you been coughing at all? Doing anything that involves sudden twisting motion? Hope you get better soon....

Matt, you were right - I set the air temp. the way I wanted it and drove around for a while NOT TOUCHING any controls (except the brakes, steering wheel and go pedal). When I turned the car off, the sound was gone. Since then I've parked the car several times and there was no tapping. Thanks so much for your help! I watched the videos and they were extremely helpful, so I made my husband watch too.

 

I have the same tapping issue with my 06, it sucks but looks like a pita to fix! For now I can deal with it, it usually goes away after a minute or two.....

Thinking of waking up early to work out a bit tomorrow..need to loose the winter weight.
Been trying to get up early to do it..always pass out & smack the alarm some more..
Actually tried this morning & set the alarm for 8am, then woke up at 11:20am & rushed to get to work.

 

My Monte reaks of white castle bought a crave crate. Can't attach a pic from my phone though, but its on Facebook. Gonna be a good lunch tonight lol.
