Dutch was in office 8 years, not 4.

(BTW, don't start up the "Reagan had Alzheimers" crap again... he wasn't diagnosed until 1993, 5 years after he left office)

We all knew Nancy was actually running the country by the time Dutch was out.

Yes, Reagan first got elected in 1980, my point was that he wouldn't have been re-elected in 1984 if he was in the mental condition he was in when he left office in 1988.

For those that remember Reagan when he left office, this is what McCain is looking like right now, and I have serious doubts that he will make it through a four year term. If you don't believe it, look at his recent statements on Iran, saying they were training Al Qaida, 3 times, before Lieberman had to correct him. He will embarass himself in any debates with either of the Democrats who are running.

I hope you're right. I can't stand John McCain. The only thing keeping him going is that he was a POW for 5 years and that can get him votes.

With some serious convincing you may get me to vote for Obama. You will not talk me into voting John McCain. I will vote thrid party long before voting for McCain or Clinton.
