Anyone notice the bowtie on the grille?

That looks like Z-34 emblem on the Monte....But a 3.4 in it?.....the interior looks just like my 1999 Z-34 ......Maybe someone replaced the motor?

Or does someone know what year that 1 is?

Or does someone know if they used a 3.4 in 1997?

95-97 had the 3.4 DOHC hence the Z34

It was a 97 Z34, and the interiors didn't change at all 95-99

Thanks Trewin15 for the heads up.....

No wonder it looked so familiar on the inside !!!

That just reassures me on the "Uniqueness" of my 1999 Z-34 !!!

at least on the outside ..

In my area they did away with emmisions on pre 96 cars because they said not enough are registered. Made stricter emmisions on post 96 tho. Good because you can do anything to them now bad because you know they all got junked. I talked to a guy who said he had a plymouth scamp 440 come in to his yard, perfect condition, and he crushed it. Thats a 2700 lb car with a 440 thats stupid fast. I didnt know they even made those so if it was factory supper rare. I know darts had 426 and 440 as a option didnt know the scamp did to.

Mitch I love your Junkyard pics. I haven't walked a yard in a long time. Most places around here pull the parts for you and I don't think they let people out in them. Also most of the yards scrapped a bunch of cars a few years ago when scrap hit record highs. Why sit on a car to sell 200 dollars in parts when you can crush it and sell the whole thing for 7 or 8 hundred or even more.

Thanks! I've gotten more and more into it lately, the yards I go to part the vehicles because they have the space, but they only sit on the lot for a couple of weeks, whatever's left then is off for scrap, they have to make a good bit of money there for sure
