morning guys. been a busy week for me, that's for sure. worked 10-12 hour shifts almost all week, starting at about 5:30 driving a dump truck untill about noon, then making road calls delivering equipment and such to differant jobs untill 5-6 PM. should have an awsome paycheck though!
AND i got my own company truck! it's the oldist light duty truck in our fleet, a '97 F250 2wd with a utility body, 7.3 powerstroke deisel and an auto trans. it's named "the warhorse"
also went yesterday to look at this el camino for my little brother, looked really neat from the road, and not terrable up close, but still too much of a project for him to tackle.

Morning all. My day was crazy yesterday. I worked at a car show in our downtown after getting 2 hours of sleep from working the night before. It was called the Be Cool car show named after its main sponsor Be Cool Radiators but they changed the name this year to the Cool City Car Show. There were over 500 cars spread out over our whole downtown area. I was on stage in the middle of it all and busy making announcements all day so I didn't get any good pics. I tried to take some pics from the stage but they don't look good. There are a few pics with the news article here. From classic cruisers to modern-day marvels: 500 cars line streets of downtown Bay City for 15th annual Cool City Car Show | MLive.com It was a fun day over all and its a great event with proceeds going to the american cancer society. After that was done I went to DJ a Wedding and didn't get home till 2 am. It was a long weekend but it will be very rewarding Monday when I get my paycheck

Good morning: Just rolled out of bed a bout 30 mins ago. Rough night last night. Just as I was going to bed around 1 am. Wife got up with a upset stomach. So I didn't get to bed till around 2:30 am. Then at 6:30 am a bird or something ran into our bedroom window and woke us both up & Ozzie. I looked out and saw nothing. My wife and Ozzie got up. I tried to go back to sleep. Then about 7 ish it happened again. So I ran out back and looked around & under our window. NOTHING!!!. So then I went downstairs and slept on the couch till about 30 mins ago. Going to be a short day now getting up this late. So I guess i'll get in the shower and have my coffee. Not at the same time...Then try out my NEW Monitor . Later everyone

Lou, that's an interesting article about the Cool City Car Show. I thought I was the only one to ever buy a hearse just for the fun of it - I had a 1963 black hearse with red and white linoleum in the back for parties, but it couldn't be driven anywhere cuz the brakes hadn't worked in several years. Somebody towed it to my back yard where it sat for a few months, then got towed to a salvage yard. The neighborhood kids had lots of fun times with that old hearse, including once when they dared a guy to drive two miles and back without stopping (NO BRAKES). Those were the good old days!!!

It sounds like you had a busy weekend, Lou. Today you need to kick back and do a whole lot of nothing.
The look on the face of this kid cracks me up. It's almost as if you can read his mind...
'What do you mean dust the car again? All I know is you better hide your keys good tonight 'cause I'm taking this **** for a spin if you don't.'
