Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.

I never knew my biological father. He left before I was a year old. But when I was 4, a man married my mom and he then adopted me, even though my mom was pregnant with his own flesh and blood. He taught me how to throw a baseball, tie my shoes, ride a bike, and everything else that a dad is supposed to teach a son. I call him Dad, and, as far as I'm concerned, is the only man I will ever call Dad. The song, "The Man He Didn't Have To Be" by Brad Paisley brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I just hope that someday I will be half the dad he has been to me.

Now that I'm older, we share a love for classic cars and baseball, and, when he retires in a few years, we'll be able to enjoy those together on a regular basis once again.

So happy Father's Day to all y'all dads out there. Y'all enjoy your Sunday.

 

 

Good morning. wishing for my tension headache to go away. i fear it may turn into a migraine. Going target shooting with my Dad today. gona blow some s*!t up he says. bought him some tanerite to do so.
Friday night i went to the races at Learnerville speedway for the first time and had a blast! cant wait to go again. (altho i dont know when that will be) yesterday my uncle was in state to visit so i was at my grandparents most of the day seeing them and fishing and ended the evening with a game of Cards against Humanity. I hope all the dads have a wonderful day!

Well, the pen I built for my duckling didn't hold up. One of the predators of the night dug its way under the cage last night. Baby duckling is gone - not a trace. I am very sad.

I'm just about finished in the warehouse & waiting 4 one more truck that running late...Traffic is heavy on I-95 2day....Oh, it's over 100 degree's + in the warehouse, but it's a free sauna > LOL <

Going golfing today with my dad and my son, I am not the best golfer in the world but I do rather enjoy playing the game. I found my game got a lot better once I stopped keeping score lol, yes sad but true

Ordered a downpipe for my car last night from ZZP for my father's day gift, woo hoo can't wait to get it and put it on. Going to delete the resonator at the same time. Still debating on if I should grab some new mufflers or wait and see how it sounds with the ones that are on my car, decisions, decisions
