Just wondering here, do you like the switch over to the newer CFL bulbs or are you still gonna use the soon to be banished, if not already incandescent bulbs we all grew up using? I, for one will still be buying the old ones as long as I can get them, I hate the CFL bulbs..... I know, make a poll..... I know it's way to late to discuss this but I've seen a few "buy one, get one" offers lately.....

Yeah, that's why I don't eat at 5 Guys more often. Price.
Ashley, good luck with the Explorer if you get one. Some people have good luck with them. My 2002 non-Sport Trac/regular Explorer has been the worst vehicle I've ever owned. Transmission twice, front differential once, 3 wheel bearings, temp control once (stuck on cold in the winter and you have to remove the dash to fix it). I may be forgetting some things. Other people have great luck with them, but this was my first Ford ever and it's going to be hard for me to buy another.

The incandescent lights don't last very long. I don't like that the government stuck their nose where it doesn't belong and outlawed the bulbs.
The thing about the CFL bulbs have mercury in them and mercury is hazardous waste being put into our landfills and thus into the water supply. I also don't like that they take a while to fully illuminate. The CFL bulbs are going to be phased out soon in favor of LED bulbs that are said to light quicker and last even longer than CFL's. I have CFL's in my home because I got tired of replacing incandescents every few months.

I have almost every light in our house switched over to cfl bulbs too. A few I can't because they don't fit under the globe of the fixture's that are original to the house. The cool thing is I got most of the bulbs for free from the city, twice now they have offered 12 bulbs to anyone who signed up for them
