It will take about 2 weeks and then once I finally fall asleep I dream about issues with kids at school.

 

Shoot, I should have read this post last night. I had trouble sleeping last night - I think I was anxious about my first full day of work. I know I will sleep well tonight!

 

i can never fall asleep on sunday nights before going back to work monday or after having vacation days off! i hate taking time off work for this whole, no sleep issue!!

 

I think I have that same problem cause my sleep pattern gets messed up on the weekend - I get too much sleep and come Sunday night I can't fall asleep.

I know if I take a day off work the day I go back I now get to repair any issues caused while I was gone. Because none of the other supervisors will do my job while I'm gone. None of the paperwork, nothing!!!

Vacation time for me means the week I go back to work will be spent doing the same.

 

Working nights, I never used to have a problem sleeping during the day.

But lately I've been occasionally finding myself waking up between 11:30am and 1:30pm. I forget that it's not my day off (or night off if you prefer to think of it that way), jump out of bed thinking I've wasted a good chunk of my day off. Then when I completely come to, I realize it's not my day off and I need to get back to bed since I've only slept a couple hours.
