This forum has gone to the BIRDS! Shades of Alfred Hitchcock! LOL. Your birds are GORGEOUS! We have kitties and doggies. 1 kitie is 15 years old n just had a stroke. He's down to 5 lbs, but is doing OK now. Here is our doggies. 1st is the newest, Pooka, the big boy, and Tipper, the hyper girl.

And Tipper and the oldest girl, Brittany:

Still looking for kitty pics.

I just ran out and checked on my duck during the commercial break. He wasn't looking good earlier today. He haspassed. He was about 15 yrs old, don't know how long ducks normally live. Hope my goose doesn't grieve too bad. They have been together since the duck was a week old. I hatched both of them. This pic was just taken on 3-26.

Becky, SORRY to hear about you long time family member, you duck.
Our Max kitty had another stroke yesterday. Dazed and confused now. Having bowel control problems. He pooped on my wife last night. No purr. Can't hear his heart beating, and the breathing is slow and long. Eyes aren't working right. Don't think he is long here. Seems to be doing OK this morning, but hasn't moved away from the heat vent.
I've never had a pet that's lived until it's died from old age, nor has LadyT. THIS IS HARD!

Sorry to hear about your duck Becky. Sad to see a long-time family member go. Did your duck have a name? Just curious.

Wayne, I don't know how many strokes your cat has had. But I would imagine he's probably feeling pretty bad right now. I don't wish death on anyone or anything. But I hope Max's suffering will end, and allow him to enjoy peace and happiness once again.

Thanks Wayne. Sorry about your kitty too. It's hard when they've been in your life for so long.
Goose is upset, he honked most of the night calling for his buddy. I really feel bad for him.

Fun pet stories to read. Sorry about the losses of Wayne and Becky's pets.

Here's my cat Dusty (yeap, named because she's gray and... looks dusty). I call her stupid cat so much (she's hyper) that she actually comes at that name sometimes (cats come when they want to anyway).

We've been praying that the Lord takes Max to "kitty heaven" SOON, so we don't have to put him down. Neither one of us has had to do that, and we don't want to start now. He seems better today. At least 1 eye dilates today, neither did last night. Doesn't seem to be in any pain.
Becky, I've heard geese grieve for quite a while. I hope he will get over missing his life-long bud, but probably not. I feel for him, also.
