Morning gang!! Well, afternoon, but I'm finally checking into MCF lol. Snow is MELTING!!! This I like!!! We're having a "heat wave" as we are will in POSITIVE double digit temps!!

Tad, it would be awesome to see you and Dave come out the GM Nats some year (I assume with your Montes too). And glad to hear your financial advisor says you are on track to retire as planned!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

 

We could probably do the Nationals someday.. I have a hitch on my 5th wheel.. So I could trailer mine.

 

^ not sure how legal it is to have 2 trailers this far east. I think they allow it further west, not sure on that, just an fyi. Would be nice to meet up with you and Tadd, doubt I'd come camp at nats though

Keane, in my experience, the management gig is never really worth it unless it is a significant increase in pay. Who really wants more responsibility? I'm a store assistant manager which is ideal for me. I can work the store manager like a puppet anyways, but being number 2 means the problems are more his problems than my problems (although I am most likely the resolution). I don't really need to be responsible for anyone elses conduct other than my own and when the "suits" gotta sh*t on someone over something stupid, well that's the manager, not the assistant. I have been offered 3 stores of my own now as the manager and I always turned the gig down because it pays about $2000-3000 a year more - who cares? The money would be somewhat nice, but I'd rather be happy and less stressed...

 

I agree, I'm mainly looking to get more money or a full time position and it seems this is the only way to do it. Hopefully if I get somewhere it'll be good experience for the future.
