SAD Night in the SS garage :(
For the 1st time in 6 yrs. She's not in her bed tonight! How sad is that.. My Chevelle is a member of the family. And I had to leave over nite at a friends house. To get her in running order. So the Monte Carlo is sleeping alone in the garage. I put in two night lights so she won't be scared. But with any luck She'll be back home on fri afternoon. I gave her a bath before she left. And wiped her down. She was looking & Sounding GOOD. She's only 4 miles down the rd. But it might as well be 100 miles away. Going to be a long night with her gone.

Rick - be strong! I know how you feel. I feel the same way when I store my 03 at my Dad's house for 6 months out of the year. I can only visit him once a week.

I know its hard to take the kids to the doctor's. My Monte does like to go to the dealer's though for her Oil change she gets so much attention there. Hope your Chevelle gets better soon. As fot he Monte try reading the owner's manual to her before you tuck her in for the night.

The signs we are ALL really attached and passionate about our cars. But I completely understand. It can be a little un-nerving when you're leaving your pride and joy some where different.
At least it's not a case of a break down having to abandon the car somewhere until you can have it towed or trailered. That sucks!

Thanks . My wife thinks I'm really sick. I did put nite lights in the garage last night. But for other reasons. I was just having a little fun. It's just sometimes I run out there at night to take out the garbage. And if I forget to turn the lights on in the garage & the close the outside door. It's gets pretty black in there. So i put two in there for that reason. But at least I won't walk into something now . My wife & daughter think I'm a sick man. I am. ha ha ha ha. But I love my cars.

Hi Space. You know the more I read about you. The more I think your one very COOL Dude. But I couldn't sleep out there. My sleeping bags are with my grandson & his dad doing a boy scout outing. Plus I think my wife & kids might have me comitted if I did that. I did sleep in the back of the Chevelle a couple of times in the last 6 yrs. When the Chevelle club goes to The Car Craft nat's here in Minn. We all meet about 1 am outside the fair grounds. More of a party then anything else. Were the 1st one's in line most yrs. By morning cars are lined up so far down. That they have to open the grounds and stage us in there till it's time to open & set up. The back seat is just big enough to take a pretty good nap
