so next month ill be heading on a big road trip for a few day with my girl.we are stopping to see some friends and family in a few different areas. starting off by leaving the Chicago land area to head down to Tulsa OK.to see her friend.we will be there about 3 days and pack up and head to Bella vista AR. to see my grandparents. leave there 2 or 3 days later we will be stopping in little rock to see my uncle and cousins before we continue our journey to Franklin tn. for her family reunion. that will take a day or 2 and then time to head back up to Chicago.
soooooooooo i need some help. i want to make this one of those road trip you see in movies. the whole family pulls over to see some big *** spoon or whatever on the road.(ok maybe not that) but what i mean is any of you guys know of any must see places to check out on my route. i know im going threw some pretty historical areas like Nashville,Memphis,Springfield etc.
any help on where i need to stop and stretch my legs would be great.

Are you going via Rt 66 - that would be an awesome trip in it's self.

im planning on driving some of rt. 66 some express way. just cuz i dont feel the need to be on rt. 66 while driving threw all the farm areas.
